# PUDO Now > PUDO Now is a parcel pick-up and drop-off application for stores, made by SMARTS d.o.o. (https://www.smarts.hr). Store staff use one app at the counter for several carriers: they check parcels in from the driver, hand them to customers, accept drop-offs and send returns back. It runs standalone in the browser of an ordinary phone, or integrated with the store's till. PUDO stands for Pick-Up and Drop-Off. This file describes what the public page at https://www.pudo.now says. The page is an introduction: a demo is given on request by email to sales@smarts.hr, the page publishes no prices, and it has no sign-up or login. The same four moments at the counter, for every carrier: - The driver delivers: each parcel is scanned in, then it is checked in, on the shelf and in stock. - The customer collects: staff find the parcel, check the code or the ID where the carrier asks, capture the signature and hand it over. - A customer drops off: staff scan the label, or choose the carrier for a parcel without one, and keep it for the driver. - The driver collects: staff hand over drop-offs and parcels nobody collected, with the reason recorded. Features of the in-store app: one scanner that recognises the carrier from the parcel's barcode; a signature on the screen where the carrier asks for one; store capacity, to see how full the shelf is; a panic button that sends operations a report with the store's stock per carrier; drop-offs and returns grouped by carrier and handed over in one step; a demo mode that trains staff on example parcels. The app is available in English, German, French and Italian. Carriers and places: DHL, UPS, DPD and 7Days. The page says parcel handling for these carriers runs at store counters in Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg today. Further carriers are connected one by one, as a project. Two ways to run it: - Standalone application: on an ordinary phone, with no new hardware. The parcel is recorded in the application. It fits a point that wants parcels without changing its till. - Till integration: the parcel transaction is recorded in the cashier journal, like any other sale. It fits a point where cash changes hands, such as payment on collection or at drop-off. For logistics companies that build a network of pick-up points (first mile and last mile): the in-store app is available today. A consumer app for recipients and a network platform for the logistics team are built with each customer, connected to the customer's systems and in the customer's brand. The screens of these two on the page are mockups with example data. Who makes it: SMARTS d.o.o., Rijeka, Croatia. SMARTS connects retailers' tills to the services that run through them. Its platform has been live since 2019, and 2,000+ stores have SMARTS at the till in Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg. ## Pages - [PUDO Now in English](https://www.pudo.now/): the full page, and the default language - [PUDO Now auf Deutsch](https://www.pudo.now/de): the same page in German - [PUDO Now en français](https://www.pudo.now/fr): the same page in French - [PUDO Now in italiano](https://www.pudo.now/it): the same page in Italian - [PUDO Now en español](https://www.pudo.now/es): the same page in Spanish - [PUDO Now na hrvatskom](https://www.pudo.now/hr): the same page in Croatian - [PUDO Now em português](https://www.pudo.now/pt): the same page in European Portuguese ## Company - [SMARTS](https://www.smarts.hr): the company that makes PUDO Now ## Contact - [sales@smarts.hr](mailto:sales@smarts.hr): demo requests and questions about stores or pick-up point networks ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://www.pudo.now/sitemap.xml): the seven language pages with their language alternates
